Why Antibiotics are Worse than Useless in the Management of the Dental Patient

While antibiotics have certainly been a great asset to medical practitioners over the past 8 decades or so, they are not benign and there is mounting evidence that they can be quite harmful. I have written a paper in which I explore the reasons why antibiotics have virtually no place in the management of dental/oral disease and several ways in which their use can be harmful, to the patient, the owner, your practice and humanity.

Then, make a pledge now to NOT use antibiotics to treat dental patients except in very rare and extreme circumstances.
